Bournemouth vs Leicester City (19:45pm)

Bournemouth were undone on Saturday by an excellent Burnley side.  Despite the poor result it could have been expected due to Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth having a fairly poor record away from home this season and have only picked up 1 win away from home this season.  However their home form speaks differently with them winning 4 and drawing just 1 in their last 7 matches at home.  Leicester City on the other hand picked up an unexpectedly excellent performance, a performance that made them look like the side that they were last season.  Jamie Vardy got back to having a party and picked up a hat trick in their 4-2 destruction of Manchester City at the King Power Stadium.  However they have had extremely poor form away from home this season with them only picking up 1 draw away from home in their last 7, the rest of their matches away from home being defeats.

Prediction:  I think Leicester should finally pick up a win away form home this season against Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth on Tuesday night.  They will come into this match with huge momentum after their excellent result against Manchester City at the weekend.  2-0 Leicester City.

Everton vs Arsenal (19:45pm)

Everton come into this match against Arsenal without a win to their name in 5 Premier League matches after experiencing a 3-2 defeat to Watford on Saturday.  Furthermore, they have only registered 1 win from their last 11 matches in all competitions.  From this their manage Ronald Koeman is coming under significant pressure due to this… maybe he should have just stayed to continue working his magic at Southampton.  Arsenal on the other hand come into this match of a 3-1 win over Stoke City at the weekend to extend their run to 14 matches unbeaten in the league this season, with them only having lost on the first day of the Premier League season.  Across theses 14 matches they have picked up 10 wins and 4 draws, off the back of this they are 2nd in the Premier League with 34 points to their name, 3 points shy of league leaders Chelsea.  Furthermore Arsenal are in the momentum of scoring goals at the moment and in their last three fixtures, they have scored 11 goals.

Prediction:  I see Arsenal going to Goodison Park and picking up a sizeable win despite being away from home.  Arsenal are in goal scoring form so they should continue it into this game to further deepen the hole that manager of Everton Ronald Koeman, this match could tip the balance for a sacking of Ronald Koeman if Everton do lose in this match.  4-0 Arsenal.

Middlesborough vs Liverpool (19:45pm)

Liverpool will look to get back to winning form in this fixture away from home at the Riverside Stadium against Middlesborough.  They have now gone two games without a win, their match at the weekend against West Ham being a 1-1 draw and the weekend before that the score being 4-3 to Bournemouth.  Off of this slip in form, Liverpool now find themselves at third in the table with 31 points to their name after 15 games, 3 points behind 2nd placed Arsenal and 6 points behind league leaders Chelsea.  Middlesborough on the other hand have experienced fairly poor in their last few games having won only 1 game in their last 5 and now find themselves in 16th place with 15 points.  However, they have found a lot of their last few games against fairly big teams including the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.

Prediction:  Liverpool should pick up the 3 points in this meeting.  They will look to put out a strong side that will be sure to pick up the 3 points against Premier League new boys Middlesborough. 2-0 Liverpool.

Sunderland vs Chelsea

Chelsea have continued their winning streak on Sunday after their win over 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend and they will look to extend their winning streak to 10 games on Wednesday with a win over the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light.  It can certainly be seen that Chelsea are well on course to come back from what happened last year and pick up Antonio Conte’s first Premier League title.  On the other hand Sunderland come into this match with dreadful form, including their match at the weekend where they lost to fellow relegation contenders Swansea 3-0.  They now find themselves at the bottom of the table with 11 points to their name with them being only 2 points from safety.

Prediction:  Despite Chelsea being in such great form, this is a game that they normally do poorly in – and I think they will lose this again!  1-0 Sunderland

West Ham United vs Burnley

West Ham may finally have found some confidence after they picked up 2-2 draw against Jurgen Klopps mighty Liverpool at the weekend and they will look to try and build upon their fairly decent performance at the weekend.  In their last home fixture they were humiliated by Arsenal in a 5-1 defeat.  They currently find themselves in 17th place in the league with 13 points to their name, only 1 point above the drop zone and will hope to pick up another win to keep them clear of relegation.  On the other side of the table we have Burnley who ended their 3 game losing streak at the weekend at home with a win over Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side.  Off the back of that match they have climbed up to 13th place, and a further win for them could see them head in to the top half of the table.

Prediction:  A draw is what I think we will see between these two sides, both have renewed confidence and both I think will come to the match and score at least a goal.  1-1.

Crystal Palace vs Manchester United

Manchester United come into this match off the back of a 1-0 home win at Old Trafford on Sunday over Spurs and will travel to Crystal Palace looking to carry on their good form.  It’s fair to say that United walked all over Spurs on Sunday and will look to continue this from on Wednesday night.  They now find themselves in 6th place with 24 points to their name, 11 points behind league leaders Chelsea and 6 points off of Champions League places.  On the other hand, we have Crystal Palace who have been struggling this season with only 15 points from 15 games and find themselves at 15th in the table.  At the weekend they picked up a high scoring draw with fellow Premier League strugglers Hull City.

Prediction:  Mourinho’s men will come into this fixture and pick up a great win over strugglers Crystal Palace.  Through doing this, United may finally start to pick up good form under manager Jose Mourinho.

Manchester City vs Watford

Manchester City were destroyed at the weekend by former Premier League champions Leicester 4-2 and certainly highlighted problems in their defence.  Having conceded 3 goals to Chelsea in the previous week away from home in the week before.  Pep Guardiola will look to renew confidence in his side with a win over Watford at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.  Watford come into this match with what can be seen as a great season so far, as they currently find themselves in 7th place in the league.  They come in to this match with a 3-2 win over Everton after 2 consecutive league defeats.  Their home form has been their winning factor this season with 4 wins and a draw there in their last 6 matches.  On the other hand their form away from home tells a different story with them not seeing a win whilst travelling in their last 3 games away from home.  Furthermore in their last 2 away games they have conceded 9 goals.

Prediction:  Although City will win this Watford could put up a strong fight with City on Wednesday night.  3-1 Manchester City.

Stoke City vs Southampton

Stoke experienced a 3-1 loss to Arsenal in their previous match despite taking an early lead and will look to come into this match to perform better than they did last time out to make their campaign in the league more stronger.  Their poor start to the season still sees them at the bottom half of the table, in 11th place with 19 points.  Southampton were made to work hard by Middlesborough in their match at the weekend, but eventually managed to pick up a 1-0 win.  Their home form is what is working best for them this season with them losing 1 game at home in their last 8 matches.  Their away record is the complete opposite of this with them only picking up 1 win and 2 draws in their last 7 away from home losing the rest of them.  They currently find themselves in 10th position with 20 points, 1 point above their hosts on Wednesday night.

Prediction:  I pick a draw between these 2 sides at the weekend, both looking to pick up form at the weekend to make their campaign become stronger, but both sides will be evenly matched.  1-1.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Hull City

Spurs will look to come back from their poor loss against Manchester United on Sunday, where they were dominated by the Red Devils.  On Wednesday they welcome another Premier League struggler Hull City, who have a few Spurs old boys including the likes of Jake Livermore, Ryan Mason and Spurs legend Michael Dawson.  Spurs have only managed 2 wins in their last 8, with the rest being draws (3) and losses (2).  However they are still unbeaten at home in the league this season and will look to keep it that way in this fixture.  They currently find themselves at 5th in the table with 27 points to their name.  Hull City on the other hand come into this game off the back of a high scoring draw at the weekend, 3-3 with fellow strugglers Crystal Palace.  They currently find themselves at 19th in the table with 12 points to their name only 1 point off of safety.  Their form has been effectively terrible with them winning only once in their last 13 matches.

Prediction:  Spurs should easily continue their home form with a win over Premier League strugglers Hull City.  3-0 Spurs

West Bromwich Albion vs Swansea City

In form West Brom welcome Premier League relegation candidates Swansea to the Hawthorns on Wednesday night.  West Brom’s 4 game unbeaten run was ended on Sunday after Chelsea continued to march on in their campaign for the title.  They currently find themselves at 8th in the table with 20 points having picked up 10 points in their last 5 games.  Swansea enter this fixture after a 3-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Sunderland and will look to continue their good form in this match to lift them out of the relegation, they currently find themselves at 18th in the league with 12 points to their name, just 1 point away from safety.

Prediction:  I think that Swansea will put up a good fight in this game as they come into this game with renewed confidence, however West Brom should have enough quality and momentum to help them to see off the Swans in this clash. 2-1 West Brom.
